3D Printed Products Notice
While we do our very best to provide a quality product, 3D Printed items could have layer lines, discolorations or other minor imperfections. We do our best to minimize any of these, but it is the nature of 3D printing.
Filament Type Used
We use Polylite ASA, which is a high temperature and UV resistant product. It has similar characteristics of ABS plastic, but ABS is not UV resistant. ASA requires high heat and proper ventilation to minimize styrene, and other harmful gasses during the printing process.

Possible Discoloration
With the heat required to print ASA, along with the ventilation, there might be a white haze on surfaces due to the cooling of the plastic. We go over this haze with a hot air station, which could change the sheen of the surface. If we missed some of the haze, you can run a lighter over it quickly to reduce haze; too long and you risk melting the plastic. Another option is that all these components can be painted if desired.
Possible Layer Lines
3D Printers lay down thing layers of plastic, build on top of itself. On smooth finishes, this tends to leave little lines. We changed most of our products to textured sides, which minimizes the appearance of layer lines. There might still be some lines based off the design and shrinking of material during the print. On smooth finishes, the product can be sanded and painted if desired.
